It’s true. Most builders are happy to build a home for someone who is properly represented. If you are in a model home from Ivory, Edge, Fieldstone, or another reputable builder, ask them, "If I don't have an agent can I build this home for cheaper?" They will all have the same answer. “No!”

 

Realtors are the life blood of the home building industry. Since home buyers have so many options these days, builders don’t like the idea of shutting out the people who send them the most business. It is a win/win situation. Builders get more business and buyers end up paying less.
